I have to be honest.
I’m a hummus fanatic.
I’ve worked my way through more tubs of hummus than 99% of people on Earth.
This is probably because of my Mediterranean background in combination with my American appetite.
Either way, my point is simple:
I can determine good hummus from mediocre pretty easily.
And Roots Lima Bean Hummus is without a doubt some of the highest-quality hummus I’ve ever had.
Best of all, after digging into Roots Hummus, I discovered that Roots Hummus funds The Roots Foundation.
The Roots Foundation is an organization that builds outdoor learning centers for schoolchildren and their surrounding communities.
Between the high-end flavor of Roots Hummus, and the thoughtful social cause of The Roots Foundation, this is one of the coolest hummus brands I’ve seen.
I believe this is a company many more people need to be paying attention to, which is why we’re publishing this article here on Mystic Future.
Keep reading to learn more about the tastiness of Roots Hummus and the positive impact you’ll generate through The Roots Foundation each time you eat Roots Hummus.
Mystic Future’s review of Roots Lima Bean Hummus
Roots Lima Bean Hummus is the first lima bean hummus I’ve ever tried.
And it’s amazing.
I can immediately tell when I’m biting into a vegan product that’s made with quality ingredients.
For example, here’s a complete list of the ingredients contained in Roots Lima Bean Hummus:
- Lima beans
- Safflower oil
- Lemon juice
- Wheat-free tamari (soy)
- Tahini (sesame seeds)
- Distilled white vinegar
- Celtic sea salt
- Black pepper
With 14 ingredients and no strange unpronounceable preservatives or anything of that nature, this is pretty much a slam-dunk hummus.
And it’s downright addictive.
Mystic Future’s review of The Roots Foundation
Some of my best memories from school revolved around the days when my teachers would take us outside.
Occasionally, our entire classroom would be taken outside to pursue some outdoor activities like planting trees, playing or sometimes learning.
But these “outside learning days” were surprisingly rare.
Why are so many schooldays spent primarily indoors rather than outdoors?
Why can’t children spend more time outdoors, totally immersed in nature, while receiving a powerful education at the same exact time?
I assume these are some of the same questions The Roots Foundation might advocate for.
So here’s the deal for you to consider…
When you eat Roots Hummus, you’re also supporting The Roots Foundation, which is an incredible organization dedicated to building outdoor learning centers for garden-based education and edible landscapes.
The Roots Foundation promotes a concept everyone should support.
So I will personally continue to eat Roots Hummus whenever possible for these 3 reasons:
- Roots Hummus tastes great
- It’s good for you
- Roots Hummus fuels The Roots Foundation, which helps schoolchildren immerse themselves in nature
Mystic Future 100% approves of The Roots Foundation!
What’s the catch?
I can’t findanything wrong with this hummus, and I’m a pretty picky plant-based food reviewer.
I normally have some kind of critique to add to product review articles like this one.
But not in this case.
Roots Lima Bean Hummus is exceptional.
